THE ARCHETYPE KEYS

Archetype Keys contains 60 cards organized into 10 archetypal families, Modes of Self, and Reset Keys.

Every card in the system is double-sided. The examples below show the design side of each card. The content side—not pictured—contains detailed descriptions, core patterns, gift and shadow expressions, and additional material designed to support deeper exploration of the system.

The Ten Archetypal Families

The Archetype Keys deck contains 50 archetypes organized into ten archetypal families

• Each family contains one primary fundamental archetype and four related archetypes that expand and deepen the pattern

• Each archetype represents a distinct collective pattern of human consciousness that influences how we perceive, create, connect, lead, learn, and engage with the world

• Every archetype card contains a core pattern, a gift expression, and a shadow expression. Together, they provide a framework for developing a deeper awareness and understanding of the archetypal forces that may be consciously—or unconsciously—shaping our thoughts, behaviors, relationships, decisions, and life experiences

• The goal is not to place ourselves inside a box. Rather, it is to better understand the archetypes we naturally embody, the patterns we may be over-identifying with, and the qualities that may be calling for greater development

Below are the ten archetypal families that form the foundation of the system

• While archetypes describe collective patterns of human consciousness, the Modes of Self describe the internal lens through which those patterns are experienced and expressed.

• At different moments, we may find ourselves operating from the Adaptive Self, Authentic Self, Connected Self, or Curious Self. Each mode offers a different perspective, influences how we relate to ourselves and others, and shapes how we experience the archetypal patterns moving through our lives.

• Developing awareness of these states helps us better understand where we are, how we are showing up, and how different states shape our experience of the world.

• When we become caught in a shadow expression of an archetype or Mode of Self, it can be difficult to access the qualities, perspectives, and resources available to us.

• Reset Keys are designed to help create movement where there is rigidity, perspective where there is contraction, and possibility where we feel stuck.

Each Reset Key offers a different doorway back to awareness, connection, and choice.
